Frederich Van Niekerk
As a graduate Quantity Surveyor Frederich had the fortunate opportunity to be working in the United Kingdom in 2008.
Prior to him working in the UK he was involved in construction and quantity surveying on various projects in South Africa. This exposure gave Frederich a very good perception of all phases of a project’s life cycle, reinforcing his ambition of furthering his career in Quantity Surveying. In 2010 Frederich registered with the South African Council of the Quantity Surveying Profession (SACQSP).
Up until 2013 Frederich successfully gained thorough experience as a professional quantity surveyor and he wanted to further his ambition to make a real difference. He started AGORA Quantity Surveyors with the vision to grow into an industry leading quantity surveying practice and slowly but surely expand the vision of the AGORA Group into AFRICA. Today AGORA has a solid service delivery capability in east Africa and in some parts west Africa. To underpin our capability with international clients we have recently expanded our office into Eastern Europe with great success.
“Quantity Surveying forms an integral part of a development. By controlling the financial component of a development project, you control the financial risk element and in effect contribute to constructive decision making, from an early stage of a project’s life cycle, based on calculated risk!”
