Quantity Surveyor

Senior Quantity Surveyor

This position calls for a dynamic individual who can join the AGORA group at our Head Office, Pretoria.

 

Requirements & skills needed:

  • Strong background in Commercial Quantity Surveying
  • Competence in drafting budgets, cost reporting and leading client meetings is essential
  • Can manage multiple projects
  • Assertive, passionate, and self-motivated
  • Work under pressure
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Good communication and negotiation skills
  • Pro-active team player
  • Knowledge of WinQS
  • Knowledge of DimX
  • Outstanding ability to forecast
  • Understanding of all facets of the construction process
  • Ability to plan your workflow efficiently and effectively
  • Competent in conflict and crisis management
  • Good command of both English and Afrikaans will

 

Qualification & Experience:

  • BSc. (Hons) Quantity Surveying
  • 5 years' experience post-graduation
  • Experience in a professional quantity surveying firm
  • Experience in Office Buildings, Mixed Use Precincts and Tenant Installations will be an added benefit.
