Project Manager

About the Role:

AGORA is seeking a skilled and driven Construction Project Manager to join our team for a project based in Durban. 

Required Qualifications:

• BSc degree in Quantity Surveying or BSc in Construction Management (essential).
• Additional certifications in project management are advantageous.

Experience and Skills:

• 4-5 years experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry.
• Sound knowledge of South African building contracts (JBCC, FIDIC, NEC, GCC).
• Ability to interpret construction drawings, programs, and specifications.
• Strong technical understanding of construction methodologies, safety regulations, and compliance.
• Skilled in MS Project, Excel, and project documentation platforms.
• Excellent time management, conflict resolution, and leadership skills.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
• Comfortable working with modern construction technology, including AI-assisted tools, digital dashboards, and data-driven reporting platforms to enhance project planning and decision-making.
